I’m Emily Coffman, host of Live Your Personal Best and Author of Elite to Everyday Athlete.

I came up with the idea for the podcast when I realized how many girls just like me were struggling when it came to working out, eating right, and feeling confident in your body. Our bodies are constantly changing and fluctuating and no one has taught us how to adapt to these changes. Instead they tell us to burn more calories and try the new latest diet.

I was a Division 1 athlete at the University of Oklahoma and honestly, I was living a very unhealthy lifestyle. I thought I was healthy because I was constantly active and could eat whatever I want without gaining weight. But truth is I didn’t know how to train without over working myself or how to fuel my body properly. 

This podcast is my way of bringing affordable (it’s free!) and accessible health and fitness information to you. Hear from me as I go through my journey and joined by certified fitness and nutrition professionals.
